For electricians · free to look, pay only to publish

An electrician’s website, finished, before you have agreed to anything.

Type the name on the van and the town you work out of. About a minute later a complete electrician site is open in front of you — what you do, where you cover, when you answer the phone, and a form for the jobs that are not urgent enough to ring about. You have paid nothing and told nobody.

Start here — two fields

No card. No account. No call. You pay only if you decide to publish it — from $59 a month, cancel any time, or £49 in the UK. Rather be done with it? $599 once covers the first 12 months, with no monthly fee.

An open consumer unit with rows of breakers and neatly dressed wiring, a pair of side cutters and a spool of cable on the bench below.

§ 01 — what the page has to do

Half your work is urgent and half of it is not. The page has to serve both in one screen.

One caller has a consumer unit tripping every twenty minutes and wants a phone number this second. The other is a landlord who needs an EICR before a tenancy starts in three weeks and would much rather type than talk. Most electricians’ sites are built for one of them and lose the other. Two entrances, both on the first screen, is the whole trick.

  1. ENTRANCE 01

The one who needs you now.

The number as a dialling link across the very top of the page, again as the big button under your name, and four more times on the way down — plus your out-of-hours stated plainly. No form, no wait, no “we aim to respond within”.

  2. ENTRANCE 02

The one who would rather write.

A quote form that asks what the job is, where it is, and how to get back to them — landing in your email with everything you need to price it without a phone call.

  3. BOTH ASK

Do you cover here, and do you do this?

Your areas named one by one, and your services listed — rewires, consumer units, EV chargers, testing and inspection, fault finding. The two lines they scan before they do anything else.

What is on the page when it opens

  • Your services, listed and describedOne line each, priced or “quoted per job” — you decide what goes on and we do not add to it.
  • Areas covered, by nameTowns, villages, suburbs, postcodes. The list a customer scans for their own street.
  • Hours, and what out-of-hours meansText, day by day, stated the way it actually works rather than the way it sounds best.
  • Your number in six places, every one of them diallingTop strip, the big button under your name, the emergency block, beside the areas list, the contact block, the footer.
  • A quote request form that worksThe job, the address, the way back to them — in your inbox.
  • Local business schema, filled inAddress, hours and every service you list, in the format search engines parse.

Everything above comes from what you type and what you send us. Nothing is written on your behalf — no reviews, no claims about your business, no numbers you did not give us. Build mine — free

Dead circuit, no hot water, a landlord chasing a certificate. Nobody in that state reads an About page.

§ 02 — the proof

The trade layout, finished, running live.

Ridgeway Plumbing & Heating is a complete, finished trade site — a different trade to yours, the same layout your electrical business gets: services with prices, service areas named one by one, hours with emergency cover, the number dialling from six places and a working quote form. Open it on a phone and see whether the shape of it suits the way you get hired.

A trade site on a phone: a Call strip across the top, the company name, trade and town, a one-line description, a large Call us now button and a quote button.
Ridgeway at 390 pixels wide, one-handed, which is how it will be read.

§ 03 — the bill

Starts at

59 US dollars per month

Cancel any time, by email.

$59/moUnited States, Canada and everywhere else
£49/moUnited Kingdom — billed in pounds, not converted

Or pay once — $599, and no monthly fee. $599 is about ten months of $59, and it covers twelve. Twelve months of the monthly plan comes to $708, so paying once keeps $109 in your pocket and leaves nothing to cancel. In pounds: £499 once, against £588 over a year. You choose at the moment you publish, not before.

14 days to change your mind Full refund, no reason required — on one email to contact@openhousesites.com. Back to the card that paid it.

  • Your contentServices, prices, hours, area served, what you actually do — written on the page, not left as placeholder.
  • Mobile-first pagesComposed narrow first, because that is the screen your customers are holding.
  • A contact form that worksMessages land in your inbox. Not in a dashboard you will never log into.
  • SEO setup and local business schemaSo search engines know what you do, where you are, and when you are open.
  • Your own domain, hosting and SSLConnected and included on both plans — twelve months of it if you pay once, and for as long as it runs if you pay monthly.

No retainer. No lock-in. After the first year, keep it with us or take it anywhere you like — it is yours. And none of it costs anything until you say publish.

§ 04 — straight answers, for electricians

The questions electricians actually ask.

Can I put my qualifications and registration on it?

Yes — send them and they go on. What we will not do is write them for you. A page under your name claiming a registration you do not hold is your problem, not ours, so nothing of that kind appears unless you have told us it is true.

I am already on three directories. Do I need my own site?

The directories work, and they charge you for each lead while showing your competitors on the same page. Your own site is the one address in that list where nobody else is advertising, where the phone number is yours, and where the enquiry does not come with a fee attached. Most electricians want both. Very few want only the directory.

What if the site gets something about my business wrong?

You tell us and we redo it, free, before you decide anything at all — that is the point of building it before asking for money. One further full round of changes is included when you publish.

What does it cost?

From $59 a month, or £49 in the United Kingdom, cancelled with one email whenever you want. Or pay once: $599 — £499 — which covers the first twelve months with no monthly fee. That is about ten months of $59, and it covers twelve. Either way: own domain connected, hosting and SSL, working contact form, one round of revisions. Looking costs nothing, and there are fourteen days after payment to change your mind and be refunded in full.

§ 05 — not your trade?

Different trade? There is a page for that one too.

Whatever you do, the front door is the same one: the Openhouse home page, or type your trade straight into the form and we build from that.
